Abbey Villa Soccer Club,based in Hopkinton and Uxbridge Massachusetts, goal is simply to provide an outlet where kids can play, enjoy and learn the game of soccer and/or futsal. Abbey Villa Soccer Club believes that kids should play soccer in a pressure free environment to develop their soccer skills. An environment where they are allowed to allowed to “ express themselves ” with the ball. An environment where players are encouraged to learn from their mistakes. Abbey Villa Soccer Club promotes the ideal of ‘total football (soccer)' from the very early age of soccer development. This is where each player is encouraged to play a controlled game, where control, pass, quick decisions and movement off the ball are the key elements of success. Abbey Villa S.C youth academy is open to boys and girls ages 6 ( if they are determined to be ready by AVSC trainers ), 7 and 8 years old. The goal of the academy is to provide a fun, safe and pressure free environment where children can learn to play and love the game of soccer. The academy is offered 6 days per week all year round, a total of 40 weeks approx. Each player has unlimited access to all weekday sessions and street soccer games. Street soccer games are held on Saturdays at Cornell’s field in Hopkinton during Fall and Spring. Players are divided into teams of three and play multiple games against other teams. Players will graduate from the academy to join Abbey Villa S.C teams. We have academy locations at Carpe Diem in Franklin (Monday), Teamworks in Northboro (Tuesdays), Wednesdays at Cornell’s (Hopkinton),Thursdays at Cornell’s (Hopkinton), Fridays at Cornell’s (Hopkinton) and Saturday Street Soccer at Cornell’s (Hopkinton).
